Financial Counseling & Debt Management Programs

A professionally trained Certified Consumer Credit Counselor will evaluate your finances, create a realistic budget, and explain all viable options and programs available to you to achieve your financial goals and address your budget, debts, and housing issues. CCCS can establish a Debt Management Plan to gain concessions from creditors such as reducing interest rates, waiving penalty fees and/or accepting lower monthly payments. To learn more click here.

Housing Counseling

CCCS is a HUD Approved Counseling Agency and can help you achieve sustainable housing through our pre-purchase, foreclosure prevention, and reverse mortgage counseling. To learn more click here.

Bankruptcy Counseling and Education

CCCS is approved by the Executive Office of the United States Trustee (EOUST) to provide bankruptcy pre-filing counseling and pre-discharge education. CCCS can issue bankruptcy certificates for the judicial districts of Nevada, Utah, Arizona, California-Northern, California-Eastern and California-Southern. To learn more click here.

Down Payment Assistance Programs

CCCS is dedicated to providing affordable housing opportunities to qualified households. Through “A Home of My Own”, low-to-moderate income households may qualify for down-payment and closing cost assistance for the purchase of their first home. To learn about the programs available click here.

Financial Literacy Programs

We have the classes to help you take or improve control over your finances. A wide range of classes including checking account management, budgeting, credit management, and homeownership are offered. Most classes are provided at no cost to those in the communities we serve. To learn more click here.

"Money in Motion" | "Dinero en Movimiento"

A basic financial literacy program developed by the American Center for Credit Education, Money in Motion will teach you the skills you need to handle finances responsibly and will show you how to set and reach long- and short-term financial goals.

Free Tax Service

Through its partnership with AARP, CCCS provides free tax preparation and electronic filing for individuals and families every year from February 1 – April 15. Service is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis at the CCCS Corporate Office.
